This video was made by people from Yuendumu, about driving and fixing
cars. It is in Warlpiri and English with English subtitles. We really
enjoyed watching it, and laughed a lot, especially when they drive in
reverse because their gearbox is broken and when they fix a flat tyre
by stuffing it with spinifex.

THE TRUTH ABOUT
CATS AND DOGS
Video review by Tony Jefferies
The Truth About Cats and Dogs - a light-hearted romp through the wonderful
world of pet ownership. Actually it's not really a light-hearted romp
- I've just always wanted to use the expression 'light-hearted romp'
in a movie review.
It's really a tale of mistaken identity viz. a viz. ye olde love triangle.
In other words a story so old it was out of date when Shakespeare was
getting around in short pants. That all said it is moderately amusing.
Uma Thurman and Janeane Garfolo make an odd couple: Uma, tall, goofey
and gorgeous; Janeane, short, intelligent and moderately attractive.
They both fall for this pommie prat - that's a little harsh but you
know how these people affect you - played by Ben Chaplin. Anyway I won't
waste your time with telling you a story that is so predictable you
can't even be bothered predicting it - suffice to say the gal gets her
guy and the guy gets his gal and they all live happily ever after.
But what about Alfie Langer quitting....?
