This is the debut album by one of New Zealand's up and coming stars.
Bic Runga's Drive Album has already produced one hit single 'Sway' and the new single will be released later this month.
This is a very original album with Bic Runga doing most of the instrumentals herself.
She also chose to do her own back up vocals.
This album has produced a really funky yet melodious sound - easy listening, slow music which is not usually what I like but this album is an exception.
She has chosen the lyrics to her songs well with all expressing personal feelings about situation mostly involving a companion.
Bic Runga has a very unique voice that is sweet sounding.
This is music I would recommend to all music listeners.
It has a bit of everything in it which would appeal to most tastes.
I give this album my full recommendations of 5 out of 5.
Everyone should at least listen to it once and make their own mind.
